Bisolvon® Pholcodine Dry Forte Liquid is a high strength dry cough product that provides up to 8 hours relief from stubborn, dry, tickly coughs.
This high strength liquid enables the convenience of up to 8 hours dosing, and because you use less per dose, you get more days of therapy per bottle than other less-concentrated pholcodine based 200mL dry cough products.
It can be used both during the day and at night, when dry coughs can be more irritating and disturb a good night’s sleep.
This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness in some people, which may continue the following day. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive or operate machinery.
Bisolvon® Pholcodine Dry Forte Liquid contains the active ingredient Pholcodine (4mg per mL). It is available in a 200mL bottle and comes in a pleasant tasting peach flavour.
Bisolvon® Pholcodine Dry Forte Liquid is sugar free, gluten free and lactose free.
Do not give this medicine to a child under the age of 12 years.
Children over 12 years:
2.5 mL three to four times daily when necessary.
Adults:
3.75 mL three to four times daily when necessary.
Shake the bottle well before use. Use the enclosed measuring cup to measure the doses correctly.
Shaking the bottle and using a medicine measure will make sure that you get the correct dose.
Take your medicine every 6-8 hours when necessary.
Do not take it more than 4 times in one day.
